Snowmobiling on frozen lake Baikal - experience unlike any other!
You are welcome to explore lake Baikal and Siberian backwoods aboard the powerful snowmobiles Polaris / Taiga.
You will be accompanied by our intuit guides who are used to the severe climatic conditions and possess a perfect
knowledge of the territory. Baikal snowmobile base offers you one unforgettable time.
Snowmobile trips in November, December and the 1st half of January are done through the forest (the lake is still not frozen).
Depending on the duration, the route goes as a round trip, across the overpass and for day trip it is partly going along the shore of Baikal.
In February, March and 1st half of April snowmobile tours in lake Baikal are done on ice and day trips includes trips through the forest as well.

- 17000 Rubles per day (11:00 - 17:00) + 1700R lunch per person
- 5000 Rubles per hour
- 19000 Rubles per day for more than 1 day trips (fuel delivery, food/supply)
Price includes guide-instructor to accompany group at all times, travelling on a separate snowmobile.

We provide powerful and easy in operation snowmobiles: Polaris - 550cm3, Taiga - 500cm3, Rys/Lynx.
No driving experience is necessary. One snowmobile is designed for 2 people. The starting point is located
70km away from Irkutsk in Listvyanka village which is on the shore of lake Baikal.
Snowmobiling period in lake Baikal starts in November and lasts until April. Snowmobile trips on
Baikal ice are possible in February and March. Baikal begin to freeze in the end of December and by the
end of January the ice in some parts is already 0.5-1m (1.7-3.2ft) thick, capable of supporting up to 20 tons!

Rental durations: from 1 hour adrenaline rush to custom multi-day wilderness
adventure throughout lake Baikal. Our guides organize the tours in a professional manner, ensuring that all
safety requirements are met and that essential items such as petrol, oil, food and safety equipment are in
place and in order everytime during the expedition.

Snowmobile tour itineraries: You get as much freedom as possible. We do not have special
itinerary dates or hours. You may come alone or in groups, such as friends, families etc. and you will have a
safari of your own. We just settle a date that suit both our guests and us.
